I had a target brand can opener that failed. I bought a kitchen aid can opener trying to get a better quality product. Bought this January 2017 Failed August 2017 I use it maybe one or twice a month. The gear doesn't mesh correctly with the matching gear. And it just spins. Called customer service for kitchen aid,Lisa answered and politely transferred me to the gadgets department. Then got hung up on no answer. As of 8/14/2017 Was not able to reach anyone to take care of this. Even if they get me a free one if they charge shipping I might be cheaper just to buy another one.
