The base station itself is the exact same as the ones sold by Valve. That is not my issue. My issue is these are $50+ more expensive than the base stations sold by Valve on Steam. That wouldn't be that big of a deal if these base stations from HTC didn't also come with objectively worse accessories. Mounting hardware: Haha get screwed. You thought your $200 base stations would come with mounting hardware just like the $50 cheaper ones from Valve? Power cable: Not only is the cable that comes with these base stations sold by HTC significantly shorter than the ones sold by Valve, but it is also stiffer and does not hang nicely straight down the wall. The power brick is also much larger than the one Valve gives you. Overall: DO NOT BUY unless you absolutely cannot wait to get them from Valve. You will need to buy mounting hardware and have to deal with a shorter/uglier cable.
