Read the Accidental Damage Plan:
NOTE: THIS PLAN IS USA ONLY. IF YOU WANT WORLDWIDE PLAN LOOK UP SQAURETRADE CAMERA ACCIDENT on Amazon!
What is NOT Covered:
(14) Damages caused by third-party actions, fire, collision, vandalism or theft; <--if someone runs into you and you drop the camera, is that collision? If someone takes your camera and throws it, is that Vandalism?
(5) Damage resulting from Acts of God; <-- Camera got damaged due to an erupting volcano spewing rocks (see news!) or earthquake, or tsunami, well sorry your damage is not covered.
(21) Damages resulting from war, invasion or act of foreign enemy, hostilities, civil war,
rebellion, riot, strike, labor disturbance, lockout or civil commotion; <-- Not a camera-plan for journalists or anyone else covering world-news.
(26) Costs or damage resulting from: negligence, misuse or abuse; including but not limited
to burns and heat marks longer than one inch; <-- Good luck proving negligence vs accidental drop, isn't an accident a momentary act of negligence technically?
(29) Glass contained in/on products including but not limited to tabletops, cabinet doors, or
other similar products; <-- Dslr Mirrors are considered glass.
