Well I am going to give you the reader a very honest assessment of the chair and the seller. Seller is accommodating and will to help as much as they can, but I will most likely return. Email them and they respond quickly, but their isn't much they can do. I gave them a couple of options but they only came through with one. You don't want to buy, assemble, take it apart, pack it back and lug two 50lb boxes to the store. Think carefully before you buy. The chair itself is low quality. Let's start with the parts. The overall look - looks alot like the eames, but it's not the same. The leather is stiff and the wood is a Veeneer on lay. From 5 ft away you can't tell, but up close, you can. Feel- stiff leather, does not recline like a original. Assembly- Difficult. Will take about a hour and if you're not mechanically inclined it will take a long time. The holes aren't aligned correctly and the screws can easily thread. The misalignment will cause the screws to thread into the frame which causes paint chips. It came with no instructions (I think they do this on purpose), and the ones they email you aren't intuitive. The plairs to put on the clip ring on the bottom are loose and it's hard to use the tool. The base isn't 100% and mine came with some sharp ridged edges and chipped paint. Looking at other reviews, it's common to chip and cause problems. The paint and wood Verner is ultimately very fragile and I wouldn't recommend it. Finally when you're done assembling the chair makes creeking noises because of the misaligned screws. The item came packed carefully, but there are alot of defects and issues like scratches, dings and dents. If you think these issues are isolated, read through the reviews and you will see it across the board. I gave the company the benefit of the doubt and unfortunately the chair had problems that other customers typed as well.
