This can opener has never worked. It doesn’t even cut into the can or turn the can. It just grinds above the metal making shreds everywhere. Unfortunately I missed the Amazon deadline to return it so tried to contact Hamilton Beach both by phone and on their website and there has never been any response. Although it’s still under warranty, that is of no value when you have no way to contact the company to file a warranty claim.
