Quick-Dry must mean that the towels themselves dry quickly- of course they would, since they feel like velveteen and absorb almost no water from skin. I bought these because my family diskiles plush towels- we live in the Caribbean and like thin rough-ish cotton towels that dry the body. If you like to pull clothes on over wet skin, these are the towels for you. After several rewashes, they're still plasticky. I don't know what towels the other reviewers received since I ordered four sets which were sent from different fulfillment centers and each set is as useless as the other. Maybe Amazon should check the quality of these to make certain the manufacturer hasn't changed the content.
