Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I bought this book because Amazon suggested it and it had good reviews (don't know why). This is a standard "thriller" with a beautiful heroine investigating the death of her sister, the typical evil bad guy, the typical love interest and sex scenes, and absolutely nothing to make the book stand out. No complex characters or interesting character development, no intriguing writing that makes you think, no humorous or thoughtful dialogue, and no beautiful descriptions of the environment. If you like supermarket novels you might find this one ok. Otherwise stay away as the book seems formulaic and dull. I would not buy another book from this author or recommend it to anyone.
