The amount I dislike these Tide PODS is difficult to say. They managed to destroy approximately $150 dollars worth of clothes. First a question of value. Multiple pods are needed for larger loads of clothing, making them not economical compared to liquid detergent. As for destruction of clothes, the membrane surrounding the packet is designed to be water soluble. Great in theory, not in practice. Chunks of the packet would not dissolve. These would then adhere to clothing, especially around areas with loose threads or frayed areas. Not expecting these to adhere to clothing, and then running through the dryer, the packets would stick to one another and harden, and caused several items to tear. Attempts to wash out packets in second run have had mixed results. I'm using up the rest of these right now by pouring boiling water over the packets in a mixing cup before adding to my washing machine. Would not purchase again, would not recommend.
