One benefit to this scrubber is that you can replace the scrubbing portion. However, it turns out that this feature is also it's weakness. The mechanism by which the scrubber attaches to the handle does not appear to have gone through any sort of rigorous product testing. The attachment point is weak, meaning that the scrubber regularly falls off from the handle when scrubbing. I've had to use the full length of my fingers to grasp the base as I scrub, so that it does not become detached. Worse yet, it turns out that not only does the scrubber detach easily, but the mechanism by which it attaches breaks easily. The scrubber and handle have tiny plastic grooves that slide into one another. These grooves are not deep, or long, enough to properly hold the scrub stable. Once the grooves break (which they will), the scrub will no longer hold to the handle. This wouldn't be that big of a deal if the grooves in the scrub broke, but as it turns out, the grooves on the handle are the most susceptible, leaving you with a defective, useless, product. I've ordered two of these. The first broke within minutes. Thinking it a fluke, I ordered another. The second lasted a good week and half until it broke much like the first. I've used one other Oxo product, a fantastic squeegee. The quality of that set expectations that were not met by the Good Grips Palm Brush.
