How does anyone think these are good? These are only good for lids that would have come off anyway in your bare hands with a little more effort. I tried to open a jar of honey with one of the flat openers. The rubber started wrinkling and tearing apart under my grip, so I tried the second flat one. That opener started tearing apart even worse. The rubber would quickly turn white where it was being stretched and then would pull apart and wrinkle in on itself as I twisted. It was impossible to apply my full force because the rubber couldn’t handle it. The third one that looks like a cupcake cup is the best and the thickest of the three but even that one deformed so as to have a permanent bulge outward in the shape of the lid. Its awkward shape makes it difficult to use when opening a standard can lid because you can’t really leverage your palm against it. I was finally able to get the jar open when I grabbed a rubber resistance exercise band, wrapped it around the lid and gave a quick twist. It was NOT because the previous attempts loosened it.
