My previous review can be found below, but I have updated my review with the following information: After only a couple of uses, the spoons have begun to rust. The spoons were used for cereal with no issues, but just yesterday we used them with soup that had a splash of lime juice in it and immediately noticed a strong metallic taste with each bite. The citrus reacted to the metal spoon, which leads me to believe that these spoons are NOT made of stainless steel. Despite the issue we had, we stopped using them and tossed them in the wash. This morning, they came out rusted along the edges. I suggest you look elsewhere for soup spoons. These are terrible. Previous review: These spoons are perfect for soups and cereals! They’re deep enough to contain all the deliciousness without it spilling out before it makes it into your mouth. I primarily bought these for my 1.5 year old who loves to feed herself soup, but she’d spill everywhere before the spoon reached her mouth. These deeper spoons allow for some of the soup to remain in the spoon while she continues to work on her technique. I was originally going to go with the classic, plastic restaurant-style broth spoons, but I liked that these look more sleek and fit in with my other utensils. They don’t look/feel cheap. I’m pleased!
