Caution before buying this soundbar. After returning one and having a Samsung technician come to my house this soundbar is incompatible with 2019 un50ru7100f television. Only way i could get it to work was with a soft reset . Unplugging the tv an replugging tv in then it worked but only for one day and the next day it would not work . The Samsung technician said it was incompatible with the television. This was hooking it up through the hdmi arc .the optical connection doesn't allow the tv remote to control the sound and opical has a much narrower band it cannot process 4k signals and on normal tv sounds like you are listening to it in a tunnel with optical. I chose to return and get a Samsung soundbar
