I returned the first order because it had been opened and pieces were missing, along with the information booklet and paperwork. I received the second one, unopened and untampered with, it appeared to be new and unused. I looked it over and put it back into the case. A couple of months passed before I had time to get it out to use it. I was using it to lightly sand the edoes of some woodenergy plaques. It ran for about 6 minutes before I turned it off and layed it down. I picked it up to start again and it wouldn't come on. I let it lay for about 10 minutes, unplugged it, plugged it back in and tried it again. It came on and I used it for another 4 or 5 minutes. I turned it off a secondition time, to do other things and when I tried to turn it on again, it would not turn on. I called customer service and told them the situation, but they said it had been over the warranty time of 30 days. I was very dispappointed. I understand warranty time, but this was used for only a few minutes and I am in the middle of a project that is due the next day. This sort of thing puts a damper on my choosing Amazon for my purchases. I understand rare instances occur, but I also feel you should know when a customer is struggling with confidence in your products/services. Thank you for reading my comment.
