I received the mini fridge today and was very excited to use it. My purpose for the fridge was to replace the bigger fridge I have in my room to keep my skin care products cool. Well, it turns out, it does NOT do what it’s supposed to do. I placed my skin care products in the fridge before I left home and made sure the setting was on cool. However, when I returned home at night, I smelled something burning (like rubber) in my room and right then I knew that it was the fridge. When I opened the fridge, all my skin care products were very warm. As you may be able to guess, these are not made to be kept in warm temperature... Now, my skin care products approximately worth $200 are all RUINED because of the malfunctioning fridge. This is very upsetting and what if it caused fire???? Like I mentioned, my entire master bedroom smelled like something was burning from the fridge. I had to open all the windows to ventilate the room as soon as I walked in. UPDATE: The seller has reached out to me to address my concerns. They sent me a replacement fridge but this time, fully tested to ensure that the functionalities do work. They also covered for my expenses as I had to repurchase them all (though it didn't cover for all and it was a little annoying to go a few days without my skin care products) but I still thank them for their professionalism and prompt response. UPDATE 7/2/2020: As mentioned above, the seller has sent me a replacement last winter but I did not start using it until about last month. Well, it worked fine, except it generates water so I had to put some paper towel at the bottom inside the fridge (no biggie, I can deal with that..), but just last week, I could feel that the temperature inside the fridge has gone up and it was pretty much the room temperature when I checked so I turned it off in case something similar happens again (see my previous review). Not sure what's wrong with it or if it's not supposed to last for a long time although I don't consider 1 month to be long. At this point, I might just go back to using my bigger fridge. I hope my reviews are helpful.
