DD said this is a 37 db NRR..no way. I got these and a pair of Pelter by 3M 29 db NRR. I put them on back and forth and the Peltors are much better. so I pulled the foam out. The DD has 1/2 in low density foam with a small 1.5 x. 2.5 x .5 high density foam. with a single wall shell. The Pelter has double wall shell with 3.5 x 2.5 x 1.5 high density foam. much less sound out of the Peltor 3M. Pelter on right DD left.
