Overall I didn't experience any problems with it staying in place, HOWEVER I did have issues with its’ products design. Firstly, if you have a pop socket or a phone ring or a small credit card holder on the back of your phone, it WILL NOT fit in this product. Secondly, when you put just the phone without case or forementioned items, the phone sits at a 15˚ angle with the phone sloping towards you so that the GPS/phone screen is generally not visible, especially if you are tall, which I felt like defeated its’ purpose. Thirdly, when I was using this product without a phone case & readjusting as needed, with the AC on for my 35 min drive to work - it caused my phone to OVERHEAT!!! I had never ever seen mg phone have a "TEMPERATURE TOO HIGH" screen before I used this product. I think because the item is black, it attracts sunlight and because it is a solid block of rubber without insulation, it transfers all the heat to the phone & causes it to overheat. I felt like this product was a massive waste of my time!!!
