Wtf did I just put in my vagina ?! (Graphic depictions of horrificly painful period sex)
I’m an experienced menstrual cup user (softcup, diva cup). I got this disc for intimate uses since my partner has been able to feel the soft cup. The first thing I noticed about this disc is that the top part is pretty thick- much thicker than soft cup. Pliable, but thick. I inserted it and it was too thick to properly sit behind my pelvic bone and kept slipping out of place. Once I finally got it to stay put I got down to business with my man. That’s when disaster ensued. I could feel him banging the ridge of the disc and he commented that it felt “really weird”. We stopped and he pulled out, pulling the disc partially out. Sweet Moses...it was awful. It was basically vacuum sealed to my cervix. Imagine something vacuum sealed to your cervix being torn off. I will say it was painful because I don’t think a word exists in the English language to express the horror of what it felt like. I have an iud and had to check to see if it was still in place. With it came blood of course. It’s been almost 24 hours and I’m still in pain- my cervix is probably bruised. My poor partner is in a downward spiral of guilt for being party to this intimate menstrual apocalypse. This device was essentially a vagina weapon of mass destruction.
