This thing worked fine when it was dark or low light in the garage. In the afternoon when the light flooded in my garage, the sensor went nuts and gave false alerts constantly. The reflection reading varied from 100 at night to 50 in the morning then down to 10 in the afternoon. Once it falls below 20 you'll start getting erroneous alerts. The reason it gets 2 stars is the nice app and real simple installation. I really liked this gadget, but so sad it didn't work for my garage.
