I've tried a lot of different masks, due to sensory issues that make it difficult to find one that works for me. This one is no more or less breathable than a basic cotton mask. All these people saying it's more breathable are getting a major placebo effect by rebelling against whatever they think they're rebelling against. If you like this mask I'd recommend buying a basic cotton one instead, that way you'll have the same amount of breathability and it will also be a little more effective in protecting those around you. Cotton also feels nicer against the face - the cheesecloth isn't terrible but it's not as soft as other materials.
