This looked like a really cool and innovative product, the kind I like to get and play with as an early adopter. I ordered them and then discovered that you *must* use Facebook with them. I avoid Facebook at all costs, due to their intrusive and hidden capture of all data on your phone, including voice, location, and browsing traffic (at a minimum). The idea that I need to use spyware to wear sunglasses is crazy and certainly not worth using what would otherwise be a fun product. If Ray-Ban releases a more general access app for these, I'll give them a try. Until then, no way.
