This product is dangerous and so disappointing! The bowl appeared to be well-made, and it served its purpose of slowing down our enthusiastic eater. But soapy water ran out from under the "cones" after washing and drying the bowl. Then it developed a nasty smell from the area where the cones join the bottom of the dish. It turns out that those cones are simply screwed into the dish, so I took them out, and a disgusting, bacteria-laden, slimy food residue had accumulated under each one. With the cones removed, there are three holes leading to a space inside the dish that cannot be accessed for cleaning at all. The cones themselves are hollow, and it appears that food and germs could get up inside them. Ironically we had purchased this bowl to replace our expensive plastic maze bowls, which had caused a bacterial infection on our dog's chin. This alternative is even less safe, and it should not be sold to unsuspecting customers who are compromising the health of their pets.
