Woke up at 4:30 am and my whole house smelled like chemicals. My eyes were burning and my throat was raw. My two small children were sleeping in bed beside me. I woke my husband and told him something was wrong. He went room by room and found that one of our large salt lamps in our living room was hot to the touch (the cord) and was emitting this horrible smell. He unplugged it and we opened all the windows to vent our house. It is less than 20 degrees here. My eyes are on fire, my throat is raw, my house is full of some God awful chemicals. I absolutely adored my lamps and now I am terrified to have them in the house. The other three seem fine, but I am not going to take any chances. I am really sad too because it took me almost two years to buy these and every natural parenting site I follow said this was the brand to buy. May be a fluke, but I just wanted to warn folks just in case :(
