Buyer beware. I bought this to install in a place I had been hired to remodel. I purchased because is said direct wire. They need to be more specific in the description that it is NOT direct wire. You have to purchase a low profile junction box and plug the light into that box. I ended up throwing the thing outside and making a hurried trip to Lowe’s to buy a direct wire light. Since I threw it in frustration there will be no returning it. I thought this was going to be convertible to direct wire but it is not. I did not want to follow their guidelines because that would require additional wiring and concealment of wires. Save yourself time and money and just get something else.
