I received my salt lamp today. It is not the size I ordered for starters. The cord is not attached in any way, and there is not bulb. The wooden platform that the lamp is sitting on looks like something a shop class in junior high might make. I take that back, the shop class would do a better job! I am so disappointed. I have contacted the seller, and am waiting to hear back. I am a Prime member, and buy a lot of product with Amazon. This one is a real bust!!! I would have given it a zero if it was possible. I do want to add one comment. I had bought this exact same lamp for a friend at Christmas. It was gorgeous. Came fully assembled, had a beautiful base, and a dimmer switch. I suspect the seller makes the critical difference here. My question for Amazon is how can I feel confident that the sellers you use offer consistent quality? The lamp I purchased for her is beautiful versus the inferior product I received. How do I get the beautiful lamp that she received when it is the same product on your site? Please enlighten me on the secret of a successful lamp purchase.
