It’s sad because they are attractive, warm, and comforting on the feet. The trouble comes when trying to walk in them! I also presume they are fairly standard fare, slip on foam slippers. At first I gave it a high rating, and bought three pairs! But this week I fell and there is no way I am ever wearing these slippers again! I work at home. I found these shoes very clumsy and difficult for walking. I could only shuffle forward. If I tried to back up, the shoes come off. If I tried to step sideways, it wasn’t happening. The shoes are heavy and exceedingly clumsy to walk in. I work and have responsibilities so I have no need whatsoever of injuries. Usually I do sufficiently well wearing rubber soled ballet flats at home, with or without socks. I can move about my house safely enough in this type of shoe. However, the flats are hard and not the most comfortable for long term wear. I cannot imagine who these slippers would suit, though, but they are horrible for walking for any busy person. They did not move when I needed to step sideways. So, to my dismay and shock I went flying into the air, and whacked my knee on the floor, and my face on a chair armrest. I could have hit my eye or knocked out a tooth! I was up all night holding ice to my face. There is one way to walk in these slippers, and one way only, shuffling slowly forward and feeling like a 90 year old person. These are going to the Goodwill store. I would not wear them again for love or money! I do NOT recommend them, to anybody. They are heavy, clumsy, dangerous to wear, and the foam is too thick for safety. UPDATE: Ah good news! I found a replacement. I highly recommend LANCROP women’s nursing shoes. They are true to size, extremely comfortable with good arch support, gel foam, and they are light, safe, and easy to wear. They are a dream to wear! I bought the grey and a pair of the white. They are perfect, fairly priced, and they can be washed and dried in the washing machine on delicate, and they come out fresh as new again. The gel insert may come out, in the wash, but it goes back in super easily. That works for me since I wear them exclusively at home. These are way better than just cheap ballet flats, or the foam slippers from Hell. They “nurse” shoes are practical, comfortable, and safe for walking! And they cost a fraction of proper nurses shoes. Best of luck to you!
