I'll admit that some bits in this book were sound, but most of it seems odd and off putting or just straight up manipulative. I feel like they really lost me when they started dipping into FBI interrogation techniques and lying to try and bait someone into an argument in order to get to know them better. I also feel like the examples of different techniques in action were oversimplified and not believable. I couldn't even bring myself to finish reading the book.
