Bought this almost exactly one year ago. I thought the light were of good quality. within a few weeks began having trouble with lights not working. Checked all wiring connections, then the grounds, then vehicle plug, then everything again. Finally got one taillight to work. Trailer then sat a few months. Next use.....NOTHING. Did same troubleshooting. replace plug. Disassembled lights and check internal connection. Finally noticed that the side marker lights did work, but very dimly lit. Started checking wiring between side marker lamps and taillights. THEN I FOUNG THE PROBLEM. The wiring is of such poor quality that it has basically turned to powder inside the insulation. Not sure what it is made of, but it looks like cheap aluminum with a copper coating. Checked in several places and the same condition was observed. So the issue with non-working taillights is due to resistance. The current can't travel through all of the oxidized and pulverized wiring. Unbelievably poor quality!
