No more over-the-counter meds! This has helped my husband immensely with "morning" phlegm in the throat. Same for me with any allergens or after eating ice cream. It thins the mucus out without having it run down the back of your throat. It has helped sciatic nerve pain on my outer hip and thigh, but does nothing for arthritis pain. No other benefits noted. No side effects. We will stay on this from now on! UPDATE: I reordered, this time getting the largest bottle per my husband because the first bottle helped him so much with reducing his morning phlegm and I noticed a difference in my own sinuses also. How could things go so backward? Violent vomiting for both my husband and myself from the new bottle. (Violent doesn't even begin to describe it) I questioned if this bottle had protective coated capsules that are required to get past your stomach and into your intestine. During my questioning, I see articles on-line from the summer of 2016 stating that Doctor's Best brand sold out to a Chinese company. I believe I'll go to the health food store and see what brand of serrapeptase they recommend and maybe I'll have better luck with something else. Be cautious when trying this brand.
