This was a great feeder, until it wasn't... the inside clear plastic "tube" that holds the food also holds the metal bar from which the feeder hangs. However, the plastic is very thin. In an effort to get to the food, squirrels chewed through the plastic. They did this at the area where the support bar is installed, so the feeder fell to the ground. It can't be repaired because there's nowhere to anchor the support bar now. We really liked the feeder, as did the birds, but it should've lasted more than two weeks.
