Deceptive marketing of oil with drying agents
It's boiled linseed oil. However, I purchased this while being a bit misled by the fact that the bottle describes it as heated and does not suggest that drying agents were added. There are no warnings on the bottle or via their website, but if you request the MSDS from their customer support, you can find that it does have heavy metal drying agents added. Additionally, their safety sheet suggests that skin contact should be avoided which is not present in the bottle. Worst, they could just be up front in answers to questions on Amazon rather than continuing to hide this information by making it only available to customers who request it.
They market this like a pure product. If they want to make a pure boiled linseed oil the traditional way without drying agents, then they should. Otherwise, they should just be up front about what they're selling and put it on the bottle and in the product info. Customer safety should be even more of a minimum expectation than pretty much anything else for a company.
