Although this product is meant to be positioned on the dash of the vehicle when in use, it overheats and stops functioning; This was in early Spring and less than 80 degrees out. But what is even more frustrating is being told by Amazon that they will not replace the unit because although it was less than 3 months since it was purchased, it was over the one month exchange/return policy.
