Originally, I thought these were great. I'm actually editing my 4-star review and changing it to 1 star. These things are junk. I bought 3, and initially liked them so much, I bought 3 more. Now - not even a year later, they all eventually became plagued with the same types of problems and now half of them are completely dead. Here are the problems: - If you turn them on for a minute or two, and then turn them off - they're great. - If you turn them on, and leave them on for more than just a couple of minutes (like for display purposes), they will not turn off. You hit the buttons and they will turn off momentarily and then immediately turn back on. - If you turn them off, and leave the room, they will turn back on and stay on until the batteries die. - After these lights have eaten a few sets of batteries they will just stop working completely. Out of the 6 of these lights that I bought, only 3 of them still work (but those 3 still do the won't turn off / turn on by themselves thing), and the 3 that have stopped working won't even work with fresh batteries. I know these aren't expensive, but they're also not very complicated. These are very simple designs, so I thought they should definitely last longer than a year.
