I am in absolute disbelief at how poor quality monitoring on the part of Hiccapop almost caused a tragedy for us. We purchased the dual-sided Pack n Play Mattress Pad from Amazon on Oct. 15, 2019. Our baby girl has been sleeping on it for a few months, and it has worked pretty well. However, we decided to wash the cover today. We were in the process of removing the zipper when we felt something sharp on the side. As we continued removing it, we found that a BLADE was inside the mattress cover!! How can this happen?! How can something so dangerous like this be missed? What if my baby girl had somehow injured herself with this? This Thanksgiving, we are thankful for one thing - that our child wasn't injured by Hiccapop's shoddy, lazy work!!! FOLLOW UP: After contacting Hiccapop customer service, they apologized and refunded our purchase. They also claim they're updating their safety procedures to ensure this doesn't happen again. Guess we'll see... Oh, and funny side note - their customer service manager wrote us a long note, offering to send a stack of Hiccapop products to help us see the quality of their brand. That was almost a month ago - we've been ghosted since the offer. Gotta love it!
