I had this tender on my 1959 Cadillac Coupe Deville. Everything was fine, until it wasn't and I found battery acid all over the engine compartment of my classic car. The acid was also all over the ground and even managed to get on the inside of my car cover. I thought it was a coolant leak so naturally I removed the cover, not knowing the battery acid had blown out the front grill and the inside of my car cover. Guess what happens next? When I removed the car cover, it got on the hood of my car and literally burned my paint. Nope, wouldn't buy again. It's sad because I have gone through at least 4 Deltran battery tender Jr's. But hey, at least they don't overcharge the battery... they just stop working all together.
