I thought I found the cure. It took awhile of watching the squirrels climb up the pole and not be able to go any further when the got under the wrap. But it did not take them long to figure to go halfway up, reach over and climb onto the wrap, and then onto the birdfeeder. They can even walk on the wrap without sliding off. My quest continues.
