I initially liked these cables, and still think the lighted receptacle end is great. The other (plug) end is another story. If you inadvertently step on the end of an unplugged cable enough to bend the grounding plug, it will fall off in your hand when you attempt to straighten it. That's because the grounding prong is plastic, with a very thin metal sheath around it--almost "foil thin". See attached photo. Chimp! Next to find/wire a replacement grounding plug on my cable. (my initial review below) Nice extension cable! The light-up receptacle end is genius. There is a quality feel to this extension cable.
