I've left my car out in the rain uncovered many many times without issues. I've also used this cover and was pretty happy with it for about 3 months. Well, the weatherproofing wore off after those 3 months apparently. I came out one morning after a mild rain, pulled the cover off, and something in the cover interacted with the paint, lightening it all over the car. With a high triple digit quote to repair the damage, Amazon refused to accept responsibility and only offered a refund for the price of the cover after I requested it. I was very happy at first, and could've excused some leakage, but this $35 cover turned into a few hundred dollar expense.
