If you are a father / husband who does the home maintenance and enjoys hearing non-stop complaining from your family about the "horrible toilet seat" you installed...THIS IS THE PRODUCT FOR YOU! Bought this due to the Kohler name and the perceived quality it carries with it. Wow, if there is a "Mr (or Mrs, I am a sensitive man) Kholer" they should be aware that there is an engineer on staff that enjoys producing products that are literally a "Pain In The A$$". The seat comes to a sharp edge around the perimeter and slopes quickly toward the center of the bowl. Initially I thought it was just my butt was too big...but then my pencil thin teenage son came to me and said "I"m sorry Dad...you're going to have to change that seat out again". He reminded me literally two hours later. My wife indicated I wouldn't be getting anywhere near her butt until it didn't have to sit on that seat again. Enough said. Sadly, I'll have to go to Home Depot and get a replacement immediately now after my wife's ultimatum. I can't give you an alternative to buy...but I can tell you without reservation DON'T BUY THIS TOILET SEAT!
