I noticed the bed frame does not fully extend to support the Cal King size bed. WHY? I have included a picture to show what this looks like when setup. I am not sure why they did not put the extra metal to support the length of the Cal King. I did some testing by sitting two people on the end of the bed, expecting the bed to flip up, but this did not happen. The foundation did bend quite substantially once two people sit on the end of the bed. I am curious why the design was done this way. It seems after time that either the bed frame could bend in this area or my foundation could begin to bend due to the lack of support. I would expect an answer from the manufacturer to clear this up. I do plan on returning this.
