This is my 4th SimpleHuman soap dispenser. It will be my last. All 4 were designed brilliantly. These guys have figured out exactly what the perfect soap dispenser should be like. They are all wonderful the 1st month. Even after my first 3 (all different models) broke within 1-2 years, I bought this 4th model, because, well, they are so thoughtfully designed. But they are made in China with very cheap materials and every single one breaks (stops working or the chrome peals disgustingly off). That's way too much time and money spent on soap dispensers, of all things. I'm calling it quits. No more SimpleHuman, ever again. I wish the Amazon reviewers would all write in a follow-up at 2 years--you would see very different opinions.
