Not for our family, wasn’t engaging at all (homeschooling family)
This was such a good idea but if fell so short. This books makes the point that God comes first, then the law. So, if you or your children aren’t religious, they don’t feel as strongly about the law? As another reviewer said these children are boring and too perfect. They are almost cult like in their mannerisms and it’s unrelistic. I have good kids, but they can’t relate to these characters at all. The book is also absurdly sexist. I’m a stay at home mom of conservative values and I still found it uncomfortable. The whole book made me feel creepy. I’m so, so glad I on,y ordered one.
