This is a lovely cat feeder, but as others have noted, the app is terrible. I did fine with it though, despite it being a bit glitchy, up until there was an automatic upgrade on February 28th. Since then, when you open the app it asks for permission to make phone calls, and permission to access all your photos, media files, etc. If you decline, the app is NO LONGER USABLE...it just closes itself when you try to open it. I deleted and uninstalled it multiple times, cleared the cache, emailed customer support (nothing back) and finally tried installing it again and giving it all those dodgy permissions - then surprise surprise, it worked just fine. I checked the feeder settings then deleted the app again. I am going to leave the feeder on it's current settings (feeder still works, just no way to reprogram it without the app) because there is no way an app to control a cat feeder needs to have access to all those features on my phone. It's blatant data mining, and it's not acceptable. Beware this company!
