I would choose a different product next time with the hopes that it would work much better than this one. Despite it being placed in a tiny room that is hotter than the rest of the house, we never quite get "there" as far as the level of coolness we would like to be experiencing with this item. It is pretty big, the hose really should be longer to allow for setups which are not the average, as ours is, and it does work, just not wonderfully. On really hot days it pretty much sucks, and if we don't run the ceiling fan simultaneously it may as well not be on at all. NOTE: I HAVE NOT SEEN THIS IN ANY REVIEWS BUT THE PRODUCT INSERT STATES THAT IT WILL NOT COOL AT ALL IF THE AMBIENT TEMPERATURE OF THE ROOM IS 90 OR HIGHER. THAT IS THE REASON WE BOUGHT THE DARN THING!! BUYER BEWARE!!
