Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I ordered this because I really needed a thermometer to use at home on my kids as we were getting into flu season. I got this based on the reviews. I found out after recieving this that it came with an offer of $10 IF you gave a POSSITIVE review. I was super tempted to do this even before trying it out because Christmas was coming up, and an extra $10 would be nice to have. But I opened up the box, and it's super light weight, even with the batteries inserted, and cheap plastic feeling. Not confident in it so far. I tested it out and thought it was great, but then kept checking out my children's temps and saw how hard it was to get a good reading. It wouldn't beep to let me know it was on , or ready, or done measuring. It would just turn off and if I wanted to see the temperature, I had to turn it back on and smash buttons till I got the history and saw the last reading. Then it stopped doing that all together. I returned it and luckily that was super quick! But I felt duped out of a good product because of all of the bought reviews. They only paid you if you gave GOOD reviews, not just ANY review. Don't bother with this.
