Look at other options first...
I purchased this printer specifically because I am brand new to 3d printing and I thought that getting a brand name like Dremel would alleviate potential product issues (I figured that I could rely on this product and would only have the learning curve of modeling and slicing). BOY WAS I WRONG!
Apparently, Dremel had partnered with software called Print Studio when this printer was developed. That's great, except for the fact that Print Studio is no longer supported and/or being developed... And... The most recent update from Windows 10 blew up the program so that it no longer works... So, if you get this printer and are running Windows 10, chances are that you will only be able to print the few example models that come on the provided SD card. Other than that, you just purchased a $600 paper weight!
It seems that the only solution that I have is to purchase a program called Simplify3d, which supports this printer. That's great, except for the fact that this software is another $150. That is completely ridiculous and unacceptable.
Before you purchase, check out other places like Micro Center because they have machines that have more functionality for the exact same price... And... They have machines that will actually work out of the box without having to spend another $150 on software.
