This item simply doesn't work with our crib (converted into a toddler bed). We have an IKEA Sniglar crib, so maybe this will work with your crib but you should check first. This Regalo bed rail needs a completely flat surface under the mattress. There can be NO raised edges or rails around the platform or the hinge portion of the bed rail won't fit. Look at the photo I attached of my finger next to the support that holds the platform in place. That raised wooden piece is exactly where the hinge needs to be. This was frustrating, but not really the fault of the manufacturer. Just look at your bed before you order this (or I'm guessing any similar) folding bed rail.
