It DOES open, but you'd never know it.
This has to be one of the most annoying apps, ever. Like others have said, it appears to never open. No matter how many times you click "Open", it will send you back to the same App Store page. However, I'm a digger when it comes to software and I root around like a pig hunting for truffles. I decided to go back to a document, on my Amazon Fire HD 10 Tablet, 7th Generation, and attempt to print anyhow. Lo and Behold! My Epson Workforce had suddenly appeared! I excitedly chose it. Of course, there was no warm and fuzzy (and super helpful) "Print" button that we're all used to seeing, which left me wondering what was going on...then I noticed an error notification for the device and simply cleared it from the que. Hmmm. But then, as if by magic, I heard my printer come on. It only printed the first paragraph of the document. Intrigued, I tried again. Once more, I only pulled up the print menu from the document, once again my printer magically appeared, I chose it from the list, but still no actual "Print" button. Then, the same error notification. This time, I chose "retry" from the notification and holy cow...it printed. The entire document. Beautifully.
This seems like a lot of work to do something I'll probably only need once every few months, as I usually use my laptop for such things. I hope I can remember all of it when that time comes. Seiko program developers could have done a better job on this app. Seriously. They owe me a truffle.
