First off, this was a great chair for all of 1 1/2 days. I am 200 pounds and I purchased this chair in hopes that it would help with severe back pain from 2 herniated discs. I was ecstatic after spending one night in the chair and awaking to none of my usual morning back pain. The problem came the next night when in the middle of the night the chair broke and I literally went head over heads and smacked my head on the night stand. I figured it was my fault and went back to sleep. When I inspected the chair in the morning to my surprise both armrest were broken. The armrests are what control the chair from reclining. Each armrest has a lock that should keep the chair in the desired position. They had both slipped allowing the chair to recline further back that it was designed to and break the armrests thus causing the chair to become out of balance. I probably spent a total of only 8 hours in the chair. I am very disappointed. Needless to say this is going back. I cannot in good conscience recommend this chair.
