This will be my 4th... YES FOURTH remote I had to re-purchase after the other ones stopped working(all in 2017!!!). If you check all the negative reviews I have had all of the same problems. 1-The voice remote button stopped working 2-the mic button works, but alexa never answers 3-the entire remote stopped working (when I inserted new batteries the remote started to get warm...I thought it was going to start a fire). The only reason why I keep getting new remotes is because the brick and mortar amazon store is around the corner from my job and keeps allowing me to exchange/return at no cost. The voice remote is a device that has become part of my every day and I find I cannot be without it. From working out in a different room from my echo dot to streaming music in an outhouse and outdoors its VERY convenient and useful. Amazon...please if you are reading this FIX THE PROBLEMS ONCE AND FOR ALL. I am not rough with these remotes. I do not perspire on these remotes...I have not dropped the remotes...they are not durable. Please address these issues at your next meeting!!!
