Charge lasts for about 35-45 mins MAX, no matter how long it's been on the base. I've had this phone about a year or so now. Straight from the day I bought it, the charge doesn't hold. It sounds fine when you're on it and it has decent range, those two things are no problem. But, no matter if you leave this thing charging all night, the battery will not last you more than one lengthy phone call. It dies so quickly. Also, if you charge it all night and use it for a brief phone call but forget to return it to the base, it's drained and dead by the end of the day. It takes hours to charge again, for even brief usage. I need to buy another phone. Would not recommend.
